Jennie is a New Orleans native and has worked in childcare for over 10 years.  She has raised 7 wonderful kids and is currently studying Child Development and Family Studies at Southern University. She is passionate about children and feels children learn best in a structured, but loving environment.

Aisha Williams

Teacher

Miss Aisha possesses an Associates Degree in Care and Development of Young Children. As an Early Childhood Educator, her goal is to provide a safe, happy and nurturing environment that will stimulate the intellectual, social and emotional growth of each child. She believes that while teaching young children it is imperative to maintain good communication with the family as well. Research supports the importance of family involvement as a motivator to young learners. When she’s not caring for  young children, she enjoys singing, dancing, reading and spending time with her family. 

Hiroko Saeki

Assistant Teacher

Hiroko was born and raised in Japan, graduating from Kansai Gaidai University with a BA in English.

She has lived in New Orleans since 2009, earning an AD in Care and Development of Young Children at Delgado. She taught Japanese for more than 6 years at Japanese Weekend School of New Orleans. Hiroko also excels in Japanese calligraphy and possesses six-dan of it.

She is the mother of a 9 year old daughter and a 7 year old son who are learning French, English and Japanese in NOLA.

Hiroko's goal is to provide a happy and safe environment to all children.  She also loves baking and traveling!!

Aleisha Gray

Teacher

Miss Aleisha comes to us with a background in applied behavior analysis (ABA). She has completed a Bachelor's degree in psychology as well as a Masters in Education with an emphasis in ABA. As a behavioral therapist Miss Aleisha has worked one on one with children on the spectrum; she has experience with increasing vocal language and non vocal communication, improving fine and gross motor skills as well as conceptual teachings such as theory of mind. She believes that every interaction is a possible learning opportunity especially when a kiddo is having fun! She provides children a safe space for learning to occur not only mentally and physically but spiritually as well.

Lexxi LaRoche

Assistant Teacher

Lexxi (Ahmahrii) is a New Orleans native and resides in the 9th  Ward.  She is currently pursuing a career in nursing and is a student at Delgado Community College.  She has worked with  special needs children through Xavier in the Pair-Care program.  She is also an avid student of Spanish and has been studying it for over four years.

In her spare time, Lexxi likes to travel and bake.

Hannah Guillot

Assistant Teacher

Hannah is from Westwego Louisiana, and has lived there her whole life. She graduated from St. Mary’s Dominican High School and is currently  studying for her bachelors degree in Elementary Education at the University of New Orleans.  Hannah is excited to be at Mid-City Early Learning Center to  share her knowledge and gain hands-on experience in an early childhood classroom!
