Hurricane Ida in August of 2021 caused damage to the Canal Street Church Kitchen which is shared with the ELC. Through grants, the ELC was able to purchase new commercial appliances.

 

In January of 2022, the ELC hired Chef Creniesha Richard and the children have never been so happy with the delicious, aromatic, fresh foods they are being served! No processed food here!
