Diane Jaskot, BA Sociology/Psychology
Diane comes to us with 19 years of early childhood experience and 14 years of adolescent psychiatric experience. She owned and operated Bunnies & Bears Daycare in Montana before moving to New Orleans in 2013. During her years with her own daycare, she along with her employees maintained all certifications complying with all state rules and regulations, taught preschool, and participated in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Diane was a member of the Billings Child Care Association and the Montana Child Care Association from 1997 to 2013 and is a current member of the Louisiana Child Care Association. Diane is extremely happy to be back working with children and families taking care of their most precious commodities. Diane along with her husband Mark have spent the past 9 years in NOLA, discovering all that this great city has to offer and rediscovering her love of art. Diane is an active member of St. Paul Lutheran in the Marigny and loves reading, watching the Saints, listening to music, making art, gardening, and visiting with her two daughters and sons-in-law in the Seattle area as well as family in Montana.
Lisa was born, raised and educated in New Orleans, relocating to Shreveport after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Lisa completed her CDA and obtained her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. Lisa owned and operated Treasures of Paradise Learning Center and was the before and aftercare Director and cheer coach at Magnolia School of Excellence Charter School in Shreveport. Lisa has over 25 years of experience in childhood education and is a current member of the Louisiana Child Care Association. Lisa is a member of the Deaf Action Center of LA and a board member of "Coffee with Claud Ministries." Lisa is currently working toward getting her bachelor's degree in family and consumer science with a major in education. Lisa is the proud mother of three beautiful daughters, one son, ten grandchildren and one great grandson. Lisa enjoys helping in the community, singing, attending church and spending time with her family.
Shelby is a New Orleans native and currently lives is Boutte, La. She is certified in Early Childhood Education and experienced in customer service. Shelby has knowledge in some Hebrew and baby sign language. She has worked with children of all ages, including special needs children. Shelby is married and has 2 children Colton and Avery. Her hobbies include spending time with family, playing with her dog Oreo, reading, and craft projects.
